The IKS Akua was a Klingon Empire starship, a Vor'cha-class attack cruiser in Klingon Defense Force service in the late 24th century, in the 2370s decade.

Service history and disposition[]

In the year 2376 the Akua, under the command of General Talak, was the flagship of the Klingon Fleet sent to conquer planets in the Kavrot Sector. The fleet conquered the planet Brenlek. (GKN novel: A Good Day to Die)

The Akua led the fleet to San-Tarah. The Akua battled the IKS Gorkon. The Akua tried to follow the Gorkon into the subspace eddies when a mine exploded and heavily damaged the Akua. The Akua went into orbit of San-Tarah and landed troops. The Akua ejected its warp core and sent it at the Gorkon as a make shift weapon. The Gorkon destroyed the Akua. (GKN novel: Honor Bound)
