James Armstrong was a human Starfleet officer who served during the 23rd century.

Biography[]

At Starfleet Academy, Armstrong failed the Kobayashi Maru scenario. His failure did not stand against him and upon graduation he was assigned to the USS Potemkin. By 2294, Armstrong had risen to the rank of captain and was the commanding officer of the USS Jenolen. (TNG novelization: Relics)
