Moonsek was a planet located in the space of the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrant. It was once the homeworld of the advanced Mrogar civilization.

History and specifics[]

Prior to the 2270s, Moonsek was invaded by Nozda. Votec fought to buy time for the rest of the Mrogars to evacuate, and then was captured. He resolved never to reveal where they went, and he was left alone in chains.

In 2273, the USS Enterprise visited Moonsek, and James T. Kirk and Spock encountered Votec. Spock believed they could free him to rejoin his people. (TOS - Star Trek Video Communicator comic: "Votec's Freedom")
