The USS Hurricane was a Federation starship, a Ulysses-class dreadnought in Starfleet service in the late 23rd century. This ship was in active service around the 2290s decade, and was one of a number of vessels bearing this name.
This ship was employed in simulation in the elite Klingon Command Academy bridge crew training simulations for the class of the year 2290. As such, she was encountered in the Sol star system in a simulated mission, in company with the USS Yamato, USS Johnson, USS Dvorak, USS Huntington, USS Vengeance, USS Omaha, USS Arcus, USS Avalanche, USS Decker, USS Mitchell, USS Tamorra, USS Exodus, and USS Freedom. This ship was succeeded in the name Hurricane by the Defiant-class USS Hurricane as of the the late 24th century. (ST video games: Armada, Armada II)
