Wikimedia CEE Meeting 2019

Wikimedia CEE Meeting 2019 (#WMCEE) was the eighth annual meeting of Wikimedians from Central and Eastern Europe centred on the Wikimedia projects (Wikipedia and similar projects) in countries and communities of Central and Eastern Europe. The meeting will be held in Belgrade, Serbia from 11–13 October 2019.

This meeting was a follow-up to the successful previous meetings: 2012 edition in Belgrade, Serbia, 2013 edition in Modra, Slovakia, 2014 edition in Kyiv, Ukraine, 2015 edition in Voore, Estonia, 2016 edition in Dilijan, Armenia, 2017 edition in Warsaw, Poland and 2018 edition in Lviv, Ukraine.

The grant proposal for organising this event has been approved.

Learning Day

CEEM 2019 organizing team organised a pre-conference Learning Day at CEE Meeting 2019 together with the Community Development team at the Wikimedia Foundation. These learning experiences focused on developing and strengthening skills necessary for growth in the free knowledge movement and designed to engage learners from all stages in the Wikimedian work. The Learning Day took place on 10 October.
