Of course, most people, to a greater or lesser extent, have something they regret in life, so it's not hard to find people who could identify with our grandmother, but I'm still curious. Many have moved away to faraway places, some of which were my most treasured friends in childhood that I now havenβt seen for decades. I continue to make new friends and I value them, but nobody ever βreplacesβ another. I think this is something everyone can relate to at some level. |
