Mmh. Might wait to see what general consensus of the plot is but it does look nice on visuals alone.

I just hope Shoji Kawamori will give us a normal story in this case.

I see giant monsters and mecha, so I'm onboard. xD
You and me both lol...The synopsis for the series is really interesting too

Don't seem interesting at all

The PV isn't the most promising thing I've seen but I'll keep an eye out on it... the staff is... pretty eh, to say the least.

this is interesting looking enough for me to put aside my general lack of care for mech-related anime

First half of the PV: What? A down-to-earth sci-fi, aka. not science fantasy like Japan always does?!?! Sign me u~

Second half: I give up all hope in Japanese ever doing anything properly sci-fi

If that's so,

All the concepts are there so at least it's understandable. The English flow is something that takes years to master so don't feel bad and keep working at it because it's not too far off. If you can partner with an English editor you'll be alright.

Besides the terrible translation, that synopsis sounds like a garbled mess of as many random "cool sounding" words and acronyms as possible awkwardly crammed together.

Female character introduced by giving the most shrill, jolting, obnoxious sounding performance. Like literally her first line almost made me tear my headphones off. Coupled with the angry finger-pointing, you know she's gonna be a straight up annoying cunt. But she has a cute character design (and a vagina) so it's ok.

Dude seems kinda toneless and just all around boring. Even his "wacky anime hair" just looks tired.

That shitty CG and hilarious awkward mech fighting, and her shrill dying-cat shrieking in the background...

Man oh man there is absolutely nothing appealing about this whatsoever.

Yes and no. I'm not against mecha, but this one looked pretty hideous and cheap.

The mecha did look bad, but that's just how every budget anime's mecha looks. So I kind of accepted that. I still did not like it though.

The first 50 seconds were promising. The rest was just.. dull.

Because the mecha showed up after 50 seconds in?

On the other side, lovely background art and OST, props to that.

And I doubt that it's Kajiura.

Hm . . . The staff are not that promising. That's unfortunate. And why is the background with realistic & bleak design paired with colourful character design? That's kind of weird.
But the score is good. Is it Kajiura? Or maybe Kenji Kawai?

I hear Shikata Akiko?

Her name was the first thing came to mind after listening to that 2nd ost. Very similar to Cross Ange's soundtrack.

on second thought after reading the synopsis this is more like an accidental type of technological singularity though and i do not think it will focus much on sci-fi stuff so gonna wait for more info before i watch this

Was that synopsis Google translated from Japanese? It sure seems like it.
No, I didn't. I tried to translate everything on my own and it's Google Translate level? sigh.
Sorry, I wasn't trying to be mean, but seriously, it's pretty bad.

Anything by Satelight is an instant PTW for me, and with Based Kawamori at the helm, I already know that this is going to be something out of the ordinary. The PV gives me a lot of Arjuna vibes, especially with that synopsis.

Hakata Tonkotsu Ramens airing in Winter 2018.
Macross Delta Movie will release in February 2018.
Juushinki Pandora being two-cour will cover Spring and Summer 2018.
Which means that the new Macross will air in Fall 2018.

Looks like Satelight is completely booked for 2018. They have a lot of work to do, so they better start planning ahead if they want to keep themselves consistent...
