Both heroines - Shana and Nagi - are part of "The four tsudere wonders". So if you like tsudere characters, you should watch them both.
Not only are both of the female protagonists voiced by the same seiyuu,
but they follow the tsundere character of the anime world,
which tends to deny its attraction to the person of its interest by insulting, criticizing or even causing harm to said person.
Not surprisingly, both male protagonists of the two anime are initially clueless to this.
Both animes also have a huge dollop of the protect-those-i-care-about motif,
though the gender role for this situation in reversed in Shakugan.
