It's pretty much more of the same, and the episodes in this OVA could have fit in just about anywhere in the series. If you liked the original you will surely like this. Although this is much more heavy on fanservice, if that is even possible. They have a whole episode devoted to still and pans of all the female characters in swimsuits, there is even a subplot of Rito becoming a dog, but it gets ignored in favor of more fanservice. Over all, its not a bad OVA to watch, but if you expecting a continuation of the anime's storyline you are barking up the wrong tree.
