Activision Blizzard

Activision Blizzard, Inc. is an American video game holding company. They are based in Santa Monica, California.[1] The company was founded in July 2008, when Activision merged with Blizzard Entertainment.[2] Since 2015, it has been one of the stocks that make up the S&P 500.[3]
Microsoft announced its plans to buy Activision Blizzard for $68.7 billion on January 18, 2022. Activision Blizzard would become a division of Microsoft Gaming, while making Microsoft the third largest gaming company after Tencent and Sony.[4]
