Modern Slavery Statement

This statement is made pursuant to section 54 of the Act and is published on behalf of SPORTFIVE UK Ltd (“Sportfive UK”). It constitutes Sportfive UK's modern slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year ending 31 December 2022. This statement sets out the steps that Sportfive UK has undertaken, and is continuing to take, to ensure that slavery and human trafficking do not take place in any part of its business or its supply chains

Business structure

Sportfive UK is a group company of Sportfive, a global sports marketing agency headquartered in Hamburg, Germany. The principal business of Sportfive is the marketing of commercial rights for clubs, federations and other rightsholders

Supply chains

The business of Sportfive UK is focused on sports marketing, sponsorship and brand partnerships, media rights, content creation, and event management. Sportfive UK uses a variety of suppliers to provide it with goods and services which are necessary for its operations.

In general, Sportfive UK considers that the risk of slavery and human trafficking within its business and supply chains is limited. Nonetheless, Sportfive UK includes within its commercial agreements an obligation on counterparties to comply with all applicable laws, including the Act where necessary. Further,when dealing with suppliers in high-risk jurisdictions Sportfive UK conducts due diligence checks to identifyany public records indicating a history of bribery or corruption or other forms of illegal activity.

Sportfive UK is committed to conducting business with honesty and integrity and in treating all people with respect and dignity. It is also committed to complying with applicable laws, regulations and treaties and to protecting and promoting human rights. Sportfive UK has implemented internal policies and procedures to ensure that these values and practices are upheld.

Further steps

Over the course of the next financial year SPORTFIVE UK will continue to review its procedures to help it identify, prevent and mitigate any risks of modern slavery or human trafficking in relation to new and existing suppliers and in relation to its own operations, including continued review of the obligations it requires of suppliers and training where appropriate.
