The Borg have planned. Adapted. Evolved. What the Borg cannot assimilate, they will destroy.
The Borg Advance story arc is a chain of cross-faction missions available to all factions.
U.S.S. Voyager dealt a killing blow to the Borg 32 years ago. The Alpha Quadrant forces thought the threat was over, but they were wrong. The Borg have returned. The Vega System was only the beginning.
Now they have a foothold in our quadrant and are openly attacking both the Federation and the Klingon Empire, as well as the Romulan Star Empire and other species, such as the Deferi. An ambassador from the Romulan Republic has shared troubling news. The Tal Shiar is experimenting with Borg technology, further enticing the Collective to attack. Stopping this illegal experiments may be a step in a right direction to stopping the Borg threat.

Notes[]
- On April 22, 2014, two story arcs, Borg Collective and Undine Advance, were condensed into a single arc - the Borg Advance. “Where Angels Fear to Tread” is a revamped version of “The Return”. “A Gathering Darkness” is a heavily revamped version of “Asset Recovery” and “Collateral Damage”. “Assimilation” is a heavily revamped version of “Assimilation (Undine Advance)”. “Fluid Dynamics” is a newly designed mission that inherited just the name. The original “Fluid Dynamics (Undine Advance)” mission has been removed from the game. “State of Q” and “A Light in the Dark” have also been removed from the game. They are still available to characters that slotted the mission prior to Season Nine.
- “Task Force Operations: Borg Advance” was added in 2018 as a wrapper for Borg-related Task Force Operations. It was removed in 2020.
