Details[]

Earth Space Dock[]

Earth Space Dock is the primary hub for Federation players, located in the Sol System. Throughout the game, players will return to Earth Spacedock (or 'ESD') for promotions and access to facilities including 'Club 47' and Temporal Agent Phillip Crey. Because of its location and purpose, ESD is a high-value target for enemies of the Federation and comes under attack by both the Undine and the Iconians over the course of the game.

Nimbus III[]

Once intended to be 'The Planet of Galactic Peace', Nimbus III is a world torn by strife and controlled by the Orion Syndicate, with Gorn separtists and even the Tal Shiar carving out their own domains. Nimbus III is an 'Adventure Zone' for players levels 20 - 25 and higher level players will be appropriately scaled down.

Deep Space K-7[]

A secondary hub for Federation players, Deep Space K-7 was made famous in the 23rd century for being the site of a certain Tribble incident. K-7 plays an important role in the Federation's defence of the Neutral Zone and is the location of Captain Mackenzie Calhoun, the mission-giver for Federation PvP missions.

Mirror universe[]

First encountered by Captain Kirk and the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise, the Mirror universe is the home of the totalitarian and expansionist Terran Empire, a darker counterpart to the Federation that seeks to conquer not only the Mirror universe, but the Federation's as well.

Khitomer[]

A Klingon colony world, Khitomer has had a checkered history of peace conferences and attacks, being the site of both the 2293 and 2409 Khitomer Conferences as well as the 2346 Khitomer Massacre.

Starfleet Academy[]

Located on Earth in San Francisco, Starfleet Academy is the training center for young cadets seeking to become Starfleet officers. Along with its various facilities, players can enjoy the view of the Golden Gate Bridge or visit the Mark Valentine Memorial.

Qo'nos and the Great Hall[]

Qo'nos, homeworld of the Klingons, center of the Klingon Empire and site of the Great Hall is the primary hub for KDF players. Qo'nos is where KDF players can be promoted by Chancellor J'mpok, speak with Ambassador Worf, or even visit the Ketha Lowlands, the lands of the House of Martok. In 2409, Qo'nos is the site of an Undine attack and the first encounter with an Iconian in 200,000 years...

Jenolan Dyson Sphere[]

Accidentally discovered in 2295 by the U.S.S. Jenolan and rediscovered in 2369 by the U.S.S. Enterprise-D, the Jenolan Dyson Sphere was being studied by Starfleet in 2410 when the resetting of the Iconian Gateway network caused it to jump to the depths of the Delta Quadrant. A series of Iconian Gateways leading from the Jouret System to the Solanae Dyson Sphere to the Jenolan Dyson Sphere allow rapid passage from the Beta Quadrant to the Delta Quadrant, increasing trade and diplomacy between races of the two.

Iconia System[]

The Iconia System is the home of the Iconians, a race so advanced that they were once known as 'Demons of Air and Darkness' before their disappearance 200,000 years ago. In 2409, former-Romulan Star Empire Praetor Taris operates out of a base in the Iconia system, seeking to contact the Iconians to bring their return to the galaxy...

Starbase 234[]

Located near the borders of Romulan Republic and Klingon space, Starbase 234 played a role in the Federation blockade during the Klingon Civil War in the 2360's and more recently has served as the staging area for Federation efforts to help the Republic establish New Romulus.

Narendra System[]

The Narendra System was the site of a Romulan attack on Klingon forces that set the stage for peace between the Federation and the Klingon Empire when the U.S.S. Enterprise-C sacrificed itself to protect the Klingon colony. Some crew of the ship survived and were released by the general commanding the Romulan forces in exchange for an alternate reality's Tasha Yar remaining, an event that would lead to the birth of Empress Sela.

Jouret System[]

The Jouret System was once the site of a Federation colony, the first victim of Borg incursions into Federation space in the 2260's. After the discovery of an Iconian Gateway hidden in subspace in the system, it has been theorized that the Borg were drawn to the system by subspace signals given off by the Gateway.

Risa[]

Nominally a Federation member-world, Risa is neutral in most forms of galactic politics and warfare due to Risian society's focus on relaxation and pleasure and, even during the Federation-Klingon War, is considered to be neutral ground open to all factions. Risa is known for its Lohlunat Festival each year inviting players to visit the special festival island and take part in events to earn prizes, up to and including a new limited-edition starship.

The Briar Patch[]

A large body of nebulous gases (particularly Metreon Gas), stellar matter and metaphasic radiation located in Federation space, the Briar Patch is the location of the Ba'ku homeworld.

Deep Space 9[]

Formerly the Cardassion ore processing facility Terok Nor, Deep Space 9 was ceded to Bajoran control and Federation administration in 2370 when the Cardassians left the Bajor system. Originally intended as primarily a diplomatic outpost, DS9 gained strategic importance with the discovery of the Bajoran Wormhole and has served as the Federation's primary hub in the Alpha Quadrant ever since.

Bajor and the Bajor System[]

Home of the Bajoran people, a highly religious and strong-willed society who spent most of the 24th century under Cardassian Occupation. After winning their freedom, the Bajorans set about rebuilding their society and have become one of the newest members of the Federation, but not all Bajorans are pleased with the idea...

The Badlands[]

The Badlands are a region of space known for violent plasma storms and various sensor-interfering phenomenon. In the 2360's and 70's, the Badlands were used by the Maquis, an anti-Cardassian militia who rejected the treaty between the Cardassian Union and the Federation, as a hiding place before their destruction; a tactic that in recent years the True Way, a group of Cardassian dissidents seeking a return to militant rule, has also made use of. Perhaps more dangerous, however, are the Mirror Universe Terran Empire ships that have begun appearing in the Badlands in increasing numbers...

The Bajoran Wormhole[]

Otherwise known as the 'Celestial Temple', the Bajoran Wormhole is the only known stable wormhole in the galaxy, connecting the Alpha and Gamma Quadrants, maintained by a group of non-corporal entities known as the Prophets who take a special interest in the affairs and well-being of Bajor and the Bajoran people. Those travelling through the Wormhole sometimes have visions granted by the Prophets.

The Delta Quadrant[]

One of the four quadrants of the Milky Way Galaxy, the Delta Quadrant is home to numerous species including the Talaxians, Benthans, Malon and many others. Until the U.S.S. Voyager found itself in the Delta Quadrant in the 2370's, however, there was no contact between the Federation and the majority of the Delta Quadrant races and while Voyager's journey set the foundation, little could be done to build upon it until the discovery of the Iconian Gateways in the Jouret System and Solanae and Jenolan Dyson Spheres allowed rapid travel between the Beta and Delta Quadrants...

Fluidic Space[]

A dimension separate from the known universe, Fluidic Space is named for the liquid matter that makes up the majority of the dimension, broken only by coral-like 'land masses'. The primary species found in Fluidic Space is the Undine, a race of tri-pedal telepaths with violently xenophobic and isolationist tendencies.

Utopia Planitia[]

Orbiting Mars, the Utopia Planitia Shipyards are one of the Federation's primary ship building and repair facilities, but are perhaps better known for their involvement in the design and testing of numerous classes of starships including the Galaxy, Defiant, Intrepid and Odyssey-classes. In 2409, Utopia Planitia was the target of a Klingon raid and was heavily damaged, but within a year was already back to functionality as the site for tests of anti-Undine weaponry...

Vaadwaur System[]

Located in the Delta Quadrant, the Vaadwaur System is the home of the Vaadwaur, a race that 900 years ago controlled vast portions of the Delta Quadrant until they were defeated by a coalition of races and driven into stasis. During Voyager's journey, a group of Vaadwaur were freed and set out to rebuild the Vaadwaur into the dominant power in the quadrant once more...

P'Jem[]

A Vulcan monestery world, P'Jem was the site of a 2150 conflict between Andorian, Vulcan and Human forces after the Andorian discovery of a Vulcan High Command listening outpost hidden beneath the monastery that resulted in the monastery's destruction. Two hundred years later, the monastery was rebuilt in a show of co-operation by the three races to celebrate the two hundredth anniversary of the founding of the United Federation of Planets.

Archer System[]

One of the star systems discovered by the NX-class starship Enterprise, the Archer system was named for the ship's captain Jonathan Archer.

Galorndon Core System[]

A geologically unstable, uninhabitable planet, Galorndon Core orbits a Class K star with a magnitude of +7. The planet is beset by constant electromagnetic storms that interfere with sensors and transporters. In addition, prolonged exposure to the planet's intense magnetic fields will result in synaptic breakdown. Away teams are advised to use caution. In 2366, a Romulan scout ship crashed on the planet's surface. The Starfleet vessel U.S.S. Enterprise-D was sent to investigate, and recovered a single survivor from the crew.
