Trick-avoidance games are those in which the aim is to take as few tricks as possible. They are similar to reverse games in which, however, the aim is to take the fewest points in tricks. See Category:Reverse games.
Several compendium games which consist of a series of deals played under different rules, many of which are reverse games with penalty points for taking certain cards or tricks. They are included under Category:Compendium games.
