Merge into Thomsonfly
[edit]I added a tag for possible merging of this article into Thomsonfly. Reasons for this are:
- This article has some duplicated information.
- Airline was brought by and rebranded to Thomsonfly(TUI).
- Has duplicated pictures.
- External links reference to Thomsonfly

Indeed. Britannia Airways was bought TUI in 2000 and wasn't rebranded until a number of years later. I'm not clear why the act of repainting the aircraft and changing a few logos meant there should be a separate page for Thomsonfly in the first place. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.151.149.211 (talk) 00:24, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
The airline has sufficient enough history to warrent its own page. Mtaylor848 (talk) 20:12, 29 June 2009 (UTC)
Logo switch
[edit]Would anyone object if I moved the better known logo into the infobox? Mtaylor848 (talk) 12:22, 21 February 2010 (UTC)
Make amendment. Mtaylor848 (talk) 13:14, 16 July 2010 (UTC)
- Against - As with any other airline article, use the last logo used by the airline for infobox. Zaps93 (talk) 14:38, 16 July 2010 (UTC)
- Support - The later logo was only used to bring it into line with Thomson Branding and was not a logo widely identified with the airline. Mtaylor848 (talk) 16:15, 17 July 2010 (UTC)
