The result of the move request was: Not Moved. No reasonable argument presented. Asserting just he is known as this or that without evidence is not enough. (non-admin closure) –Ammarpad (talk) 06:18, 10 April 2018 (UTC)
John Christian (musician) → John Christian (DJ) – WP:COMMONNAME, he is better recognized as a DJ. KingAndGod 08:40, 3 April 2018 (UTC)
- For what it's worth, WP:COMMONNAME does not apply to disambiguators. There may be a different argument to make here under WP:D. Dekimasuよ! 00:30, 4 April 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose. DJs are just a sub-class of musicians, so the current title isn't really unrecognizable or unnatural. Using the less-specific term "musician" allows the title to describe everything that John Christian is notably known for, not just one thing he's notable for. Not to mention, you haven't really made an argument as to if he really is better known as a DJ than a musician. The article currently says basically nothing about his DJ career—it just lists his discography. –IagoQnsi (talk) 03:23, 5 April 2018 (UTC)
