Within the article is the statement Novobiocin is an aromatic ether compound.

I don't see any ether groups. I see a coumarin group and an acetal group. I am hesitant to remove this statement because it has been in the article so long. There were errors in this article. This was discussed in Journal of Chemical Education doi:10.1021/acs.jchemed.6b00478. The article was corrected by Mandlerm on 29 September 2016. --Taweetham (talk) 02:31, 12 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
