First in Philippine Wiki History
[edit]Last night, I saw on GMA-7 news about this Wikipiniana, and this morning I read it as headline in our Philippine Daily Inquirer, Inquirer.net Online. This is a great contribution to our Filipino researchers (students) and even for us lawyers and judges.

The profile link of WikiPilipas shows that Vibal, Grimaldo and Ursua with the team were responsible for its birth and metamorphosis.[1]- --Florentino floro (talk) 09:55, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
Policies compared to Wikipedia
[edit]It should be mentioned somewhere in the article that WikiPilipinas actually promotes POV articles and Original Research. Shrumster 16:17, 23 August 2007 (UTC)
I don't think it should be here. --Howard the Duck 06:03, 28 August 2007 (UTC)
Esther Vibal
[edit]I have to add this, since this is the only existing link or verifiable source which points to the central fact that WikiPilipinas was born because of Esther Vibal, the mother of Gaspar Vibal, and the incumbent owner of Vibal Publishing. Moreover, it was octogenarian book publisher Esther A. Vibal, founder of Vibal Publishing House (VPHI), who learned about online publishing and knowledge sharing. She introduced the concepts through Filipiniana.net and WikiPilipinas.org, the world’s biggest Philippine encyclopedia available on the Web.Inquirer.net, Business lessons from an octogenarian - --Florentino floro (talk) 10:20, 12 May 2008 (UTC)
Should be deleted

Defunct?
[edit]Tried visiting the site lately, but as of now it is no longer responding. It limped and zombied along for the past few years, the only significant edits being those from some serial hoaxer whose name I won't mention. Can anyone confirm that Vibal has discontinued support for the site? Blake Gripling (talk) 04:48, 23 April 2018 (UTC)
