IMDb depends on user contributions, like Wikipedia. See WP:IMDB. We need to wait until a reliable source reports a title change. Mike Allen 19:10, 29 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Title

[edit]

Given the strange title of the movie, it would be nice if it could be explained (with citation). Kdammers (talk) 18:14, 18 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I dont have a citation, but I thought it was obviously a hommage to Pulp Fiction, where Mr. Wolf was the legendary "fixer". Hence, these two guys are Wolfs. 2A01:C23:9166:500:6110:E7D0:40C8:882D (talk) 11:02, 28 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. that sounds likely. I found this in the NYT review: "Clooney and Pitt play underworld fixers, the kind of misterioso professionals whom people with power and money hire to clean up their messes. Much like the character in Quentin Tarantino’s “Pulp Fiction” played by Harvey Keitel — named Winston Wolfe but known as the Wolf — the fixers here swoop in and, with some elbow grease and a duffel bag large enough to hold a body, discreetly make the problem go away, or that’s the idea. Tarantino’s influence is conspicuous throughout “Wolfs,”" -- Is that enough to cite, or is it too thin? Kdammers (talk) 21:16, 17 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Relisting comment: So far we have support to move the surname, now looking to see if it is preferred to redirect Wolfs to Wolf (Wolf (disambiguation) would be a double-redirect), or something else ASUKITE 15:01, 27 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Wolf (disambiguation) is the title of a DAB not a redirect so there would be no double redirect issue. Crouch, Swale (talk) 16:35, 27 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
