Usage
This template is used to generate a citation to any part of the 3rd edition of Mammal Species of the World (MSW3) written by Colin Groves. Groves contributed the following sections to the book: Order Monotremata, Order Notoryctemorphia, Order Dasyuromorphia, Order Peramelemorphia, Order Diprotodontia and Order Primates.

When no heading is employed, it may be advantageous to use instead one of the more specific taxon-based templates ({{MSW3 Monotremata}}, {{MSW3 Notoryctemorphia}}, {{MSW3 Dasyuromorphia}}, {{MSW3 Peramelemorphia}}, {{MSW3 Diprotodontia}} or {{MSW3 Primates}}), which supply a default chapter heading.
An optional |ref= parameter is supported but seldom used. It allows specification of reference names in Harvard references, for use in the {{citation}} template family.
