XSET is an American professional esports and entertainment organization based in Boston, Massachusetts. It has rosters competing in Fortnite, Valorant, Rocket League, Call of Duty: Warzone, Call of Duty: Mobile, PUBG Mobile, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, World of Warcraft, Madden NFL .[1][2][3][4]

History

On July, 2020 XSET was founded by a group of former executives at FaZe Clan.[5][6][7]

Shortly after its launch, XSET announced their Fortnite roster.[8]

On August 18, 2020, XSET announced its two-year partnership with sports nutrition brand, GHOST.[9][10]

On September 3, 2020 the organization announced its signing of five PUBG Mobile professional players.[11][12]

On September 9, 2020 XSET's second partnership was announced by the organization. The partnership was signed with Game controller company, Scuf Gaming.[13][14].

On September 20, 2020, XSET announced their Rocket League roster. [15]

On October 26, 2020, XSET announced its official Valorant roster.[16]

On October 28, 2020, XSET Gaming announced Swae Lee as its first official investor.[17][18][19]

On November 20, 2020 XSET signed an all-female Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team to make up its official roster.[20]

On on April 22, 2020 XSET joined the Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship which was announced by Activision.[21][22]

In February, 2021 XSET announced their official peripheral and memory partner, HyperX.
