Thank you for your hard work on with the 2019 Macedonia Name RFC. We finally rewrote Wikipedia:Naming conventions (Macedonia), and you have my utmost respect for your courtieness throughout this process. Whenever things looked tough, I was glad that we had a voice of calm such as yours keeping things together. I can easily say that you made a positive impact. I am glad to have had the great pleasure to work with you! –MJL‐Talk‐☖ 02:31, 8 May 2019 (UTC)

Wikipedia is a free-access, free-content Internet encyclopedia, supported and hosted by the non-profit Wikimedia Foundation. As an encyclopedia, Wikipedia is a type of reference work or compendium holding a comprehensive summary of information from either all branches of knowledge or a particular branch of knowledge. Wikipedia are divided into articles or entries, which are usually accessed by typing the article's name on the Search box, or by exploring the Portal: Contents. Wikipedia entries are longer and more detailed than those in most dictionaries. Generally speaking, unlike dictionary entries, which focus on linguistic information about words, wikipedia articles focus on factual information to cover the thing or concept for which the article name stands.
Although Wikipedia offers you an way to learn and obtain basic information about what you are looking for, it is however not perfect. No encyclopedia is perfect, and Wikipedia is no exception. Because:
Wikipedia cannot replace or serve as an alternative to the unique experiences you gain by actually visiting a library, an archeological site, or places across the world, where you can interact with other people, talk, and learn their stories. But, as a bridge to the knowledge that is, Wikipedia needs everyone's support, and every person who is willing to help make it a better encyclopedia for everyone to access from all around the globe, is welcome.
