Some cookies to welcome you!

Welcome to Wikipedia, 55go! I am CWii and have been editing Wikipedia for quite some time. I just wanted to say hi and welcome you to Wikipedia! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page or by typing {{helpme}} at the bottom of this page. I love to help new users, so don't be afraid to leave a message! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome! Hi! It seems you recently created an unreferenced biography of a living person: Toshihiro Yamaguchi. Our verifiability policy requires that all content be cited to a reliable source. Please add references as soon as possible. Thanks! --LaraBot (talk) 00:13, 16 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The article Yōhei Tadano has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Help

[edit]

Could you help me? I'm new to the English Wikipedia and I'm starting here doing a translation from Japanese to English, but my Japanese is not very good. I'm not able to translate a sentence correctly, you could do this favor for me? If so, the sentence is:妻を亡くして以来優介を男手一つで育ててきたが、それが優介の女性恐怖症の一因ではないかと気にしており、その荒療治も兼ねて中村姉妹を看護師見習いとして預かる。 It's from article 1+2=paradise. I hope we can be good friends. Thank you very much.Ermeson15 (talk) 00:43, 16 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Satoshi Mikami requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content or organised event, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that your page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. 122.16.122.121 (talk) 01:28, 10 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Yutaka Aoyama, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Space Travelers (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Wrestler updates

[edit]

Hi, you may have seen my memo elsewhere but just in case: When you add any new information to a wrestler's article could you also add an update date (month and date as well) in the infobox? This will help us keep better track of which rikishi articles haven't seen much attention in a while. Just using it for the infobox is not nearly as useful because for many bread and butter rikishi their tables change very rarely even as their bios etc. slowly get information added. I already added the update date for Takanoyama's retirement that you added. FourTildes (talk) 22:28, 26 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

英語日本語翻訳校正のお願い

[edit]

Yoko Soumi and other live-action dubbing

[edit]

Hi, thanks for adding more sources for Yoko Soumi's live-action dubbed roles. I removed some of the original actors where the Mausu profile does not show the original actor's name that she was voice matching. If you want those back in, please add the reference articles that shows the video itself insists on credited her as the voice match. Also mixed in Cameron Diaz's voice matched roles. I know JA wikipedia wanted to keep it separate but it doesn't need to be like that in the filmography. Instead, the biography can make a statement about how she voices a lot of Cameron Diaz roles, and whether it's purposely done with that in mind by the studio if appropriate. As for which editions (e.g. Blu-ray, special, NTV), that needs to be referenced as well so please add those as they are not shown in her Mausu profile. -AngusWOOF (talk) 17:37, 26 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Category:2018 Japanese television series endings requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". Why do you insist on vandalizing the dub section of that page? Do you enjoy deleting what other people spent a lot of time working on, just to create a table that will be of use to no one? Please undo your latest re-edit or I will have to report you. I see you have already been warned for the same sort of behavior on other pages so you have no excuse. I have respect for your work. But please see WP:RS. I hope you will understand. Thank you.--55go (talk) 14:17, 4 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
You have zero respect. 99% of the entries I added, plus the ones that were already there, are on his JP Wiki page, or on the given movie's Wiki page. I don't see you deleting stuff over there because of lack of reference. And following that logic, then all content in other sections should be deleted as well, because there is no reference either. Maybe you would prefer the page to be almost empty? This is absolutely ridiculous. People like you discourage others from contributing valuable content.Pandora18 (talk) 17:02, 4 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I am glad we could reach some form of reasonable understanding. I have added a note at the top of the section saying that all entries are sourced from the JP wiki unless otherwise indicated. For the record, I totally understand the need for rules and am willing to source as much as possible, but in this particular case, the page would end up with hundreds of references in the footnotes and I think that would be total overkill. On another note, what do you intend to do with the table thing? Will you include all entries in that table eventually?Pandora18 (talk) 18:41, 5 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Last of the Wolves has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non notable future film, appears to fail WP:NFF as nothing was found in a WP:BEFORE except film database sites, videos, and promo material. Should be deleted or moved to draft until release and then notability can be established.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hi there - Wikipedia relies on reliable sources to verify information, especially about living people. You didn't provide a source for your changes to the Kasper Junker article, and I couldn't find one either. If you have a reliable source please let me know and we can change the article. Please let me know if you have any questions. GiantSnowman 08:35, 19 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, you've added the Mainichi Film Award for Best Supporting Actress template to the article above, which is perfectly alright, but while you were at it, you could have added the Blue Ribbon Award for Best Supporting Actress template as well, which would have made the edit complete. Referencing in film list/filmography

[edit]

I've reverted your edit on Ineko Arima which made the whole list invisible by comment tagging it and which you explained with the need of references for the films included in this list.

Not only is there no rule in MOS:FILM or related MOS which demands the referencing of every single film in such a list, in my opinion it is even a clear case of WP:OVERKILL. In case you disagree, I invite you to discuss this over at Wikiproject Film.

Adding roles to Japanese actors without a source

[edit]

Hi. Since in the recent message you sent me you're now outright threatening to block me if I'll add one more role to any Japanese actor, I will stop. But I want to ask something: if only a role with a source is allowed, why some of the roles don't have one? Shouldn't they be deleted by that logic? Petrandreev13 (talk) 15:05, 8 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your understanding. --55go (talk) 15:13, 8 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Petrandreev13 User 55go is not an admin and not entitled to block you. Infringement of Wikipedia rules like repeatedly adding unsourced information can be considered Disruptive editing and can result in disciplinary measures. Still, handling disruptive editing has to follow the Dispute resolution proceedings. On the other hand, unauthorised block threats could be regarded as Harassment. If any of you doesn't agree with the other's edits or behaviour, please consult the Dispute resolution site what to do. Robert Kerber (talk) 15:26, 30 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Otazune

I do not endorse your way of working and at the same time blaming another editor for "rendering the efforts of others futile" (which is then also true for your edits) and took this case to Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Film here. Robert Kerber (talk) 16:52, 31 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@55go: They changed the domestic box office too, they included the box office results after the Motion Picture Producers Association of Japan reported it in January 2404:4404:2A22:B100:D80D:D10:7204:CE5B (talk) 03:20, 22 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
