Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 22:56, 16 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, and thanks for your help in the copyediting drive. I've only had time to take a quick look at this article; a few points:

  • When you begin copyediting an article, please remove the {{copy edit}} tag at the top; I've done that.
  • The article is tagged as having no lead section, as recommended by WP:LEAD. What I do when there's no lead is skim the article and come up with a quick three sentences summarizing the topic; something is better than nothing :-).

Thanks for requesting feedback. Have fun and all the best, Miniapolis 00:37, 17 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

A barnstar for you!

The Minor barnstar
You've been an account for less than a day and you've already jumped right in! Great work so far, keep it up! Sn1per (t)(c) 01:39, 17 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I saw that you had copyedited Awail Al Maqalat, a requests-page article, in six minutes; even for such a short article, that's kind of fast. I've been copyediting WP articles for five years, and my cruising speed is about 2,000 words a day :-). Since you're getting the hang of copyediting here, I suggest sticking to backlog articles for a little while; please see the first of the "Instructions for copy editors" at the top of the requests page, and it's a good idea to bookmark those three links (the how-to and the links to both versions of the Manual of Style) as a handy reference. Thanks for your help and all the best, Miniapolis 19:44, 18 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
