Ryanzilla13 (talk · contribs) - I‘m smart, funny, like sports, but most of all, I like to take vandalism off pages. So far I have never found any to take off, but I‘m working on it Ryanzilla13 14:34, 2 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Questions for the candidate
[edit]Dear candidate, thank you for offering to serve Wikipedia as an administrator. You may wish to answer the following optional questions to provide guidance for participants:
- 1. What admin work do you intend to take part in?
- A: I intend to help work to take vandalism off pages, block users that need to be blocked for reasons like: Repeated creation in articles that do not follow the specifications of an article. I would add information to pages that isn‘t there, and that people know, I would do alot of help to Wikipedia. That is the admin work I intend to take part in.
- 2. What are your best contributions to Wikipedia, and why?
- A: My best contributions to Wikipedia are: taking vandilism off Still Pending, (Well I at least alerted administrators), putting information onto the Underclass Hero article, for example I added the message pointing out that it was on the Canadian iTunes Music Store.
- 3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or have other users caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
- A: Yes. I have been in conficts because of my shared IP address, and I have delt with it by posting the unblock template. It has caused me alot of stress because I was not able to help Wikipedia to take off vandilism, or add information that people might not know to pages. It got me fustrated, but I have gotton through it. In the future I will block people for things they shouldnèt do, and I will have a better future being a Wikipedian.

Oppose
- Strong oppose Come on, are you joking? A new account already asking for adminship? I smell a sock ...Blueboy96 14:43, 2 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- no, I‘m not joking. I have made alot of contributions with my IP adress alone. That‘s what happened to MY IP address and it was hard enough becuase I‘m under a shared IP addressRyanzilla13 14:52, 2 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Civility please. It is not uncommon for new users to run for adminship straight off, and that doesn't warrant that kind of reaction. ViridaeTalk 14:57, 2 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose I'm sorry but the standards for adminship are very high, and this is destined (through no fault of your own apart from applying so early) to fail. I suggest you withdraw. ViridaeTalk 14:57, 2 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Strong oppose Come back after you have a track record that we can review. Jehochman Talk 14:56, 2 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose: Outside of the very basic answers you provided, you have made little contributions as a whole to Wikipedia. Please accumulate many more edits and retry. Seicer (talk) (contribs) 15:11, 2 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose, no reason to support this user yet. Punkmorten 18:44, 2 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Neutral
- Neutral Another constructive IP user? Yeah, I was, too. But, you have to let us get to know you a bit first before running for adminship. It may help to reference to your IP. --əˈnongahy ♫Look What I've Done!♫ 15:13, 2 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Based on his comment "putting information onto the Underclass Hero article, for example I added the message pointing out that it was on the Canadian iTunes Music Store.", I found this which indicates that Ryanzilla13 was this IP, which has 1 edit. Punkmorten 18:44, 2 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Neutral Unless we can see what IPs you edited from and assess their history, many people won't feel that they can vote meaningfully on your performance - no offence at all, and if this fails (which it is starting to look like it will), my suggestion would be to keep at it for a few months, keep on making good edits and fighting vandals per above, and you'll undoubtedly succeed in a 2nd nomination down the track.
