Welcome to WikiProject Rutgers.
WikiProject Rutgers is dedicated to producing a comprehensive collection of well-written, informative and accurate articles about Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey (known also as Rutgers University) and affiliated subjects.
Goals
[edit]- To write comprehensive articles in keeping with the best examples of the Wikipedia content standards and policies regarding as many aspects of Rutgers as are notable, including constituent schools and colleges, history, traditions, athletics, subordinate institutes, research projects, alumni, faculty, and other notable individuals or projects.
- To organize articles related to Rutgers University into appropriate categories (i.e. alumni, faculty, etc.)
- To bring as many Rutgers-related articles, lists, and images to featured and good article status as possible.

- Writing comprehensive articles with decent history sections, academics and programs sections, etc. for all Rutgers' constituent schools. Because of size, combining the relevant constituent schools and programs into one article as they relate to the Rutgers–Newark and Rutgers–Camden articles, if necessary.
- Writing comprehensive articles worthy of inclusion as featured articles about extremely important Rutgers alumni (Milton Friedman, Selman Waksman, Joyce Kilmer, Robert Pinsky, etc.)
