Sightless

In this case, I had no idea what I was getting into. That's why I was really confused by the story the whole time, and I couldn't figure out what was actually happening and where it might be heading. Over time, I came up with theories, but I didn't completely uncover the main twist. The first half, therefore, felt very strange to me, but I deduce that's exactly where the director wanted me to be, so thumbs up. The second half won more of my favor. The resolution at the end may have been a little over the top, but somehow I can overlook it because I felt like I was on a roller coaster with this film and that's why it stuck more in my memory. A decently executed psycho-thriller with a twist that is very predictable and very soon. I was actually wondering whether the creators wouldn’t come up with a smarter and less contrived resolution than the one pretty much everybody should figure out after half an hour or so. And they didn’t, it ends exactly the way you expect. The only surprise was perhaps the motivations of the villain and how corny they were. 5/10 (24.01.2021)
