Even if the actors were working hard here and there, nothing could save the horrifically bad script. Won Joo may be a good actor, but he just didn't have much to do here. Not to mention, I found the main character terribly unlikable the whole time and felt like she wasn't playing what she was supposed to. A terrible show, even the minimum of palatable scenes and the one mediocre song couldn't save it. An obvious Titanic. ()
I was originally going to bash this series in the ratings, but the ending softened me up. At the beginning I was actually thinking that if I gave it a go, I'd eat a kilo of ice cream or get drunk in broad daylight as my reward. But since I was entertained by the second half in places, I won't go crazy. I'll take it from the beginning... The first episode was like any other, okay, but nothing groundbreaking. But from the second one onwards, watching it became more of an ordeal than a pleasure. I hated everything about the main character. From her indecisive behavior to her horrible haircut. As much as I loved Kang-hee Choi's awesomeness in Protect the Boss, in this one I could barely remember her name. She was annoying, whiny, and got on my nerves with every gesture. Won Joo was probably the best thing about the whole series, and that malicious look on his face was awesome, but he's not going to make it onto the list of my top actors either. The thing that bothered me most about the series was the endless rewatching, I had to watch some episodes three times! I didn't enjoy the NIS scenes, nor the scenes between the main character's parents. And I really like those two actors. But like I said, the second half was better, so I managed to find some light moments. For example, the romantic scenes between the main characters, provided that Seo Won didn't spoil them. And it had a nice soundtrack too... 2.5 stars. ()
