GTA 3. 20 classic PC games for Android and iPhone

Several games from the iconic GTA series are also available on Android. We put them on one page.

The version intended for portable gaming is complete - it's probably a PC port. This means that anyone who decides to spend just under 5 bucks on it can expect many hours of great fun and an original soundtrack. The graphics have already aged, but the story still maintains a great level and navigates between more serious moments and those a bit more relaxed.

The mobile version of GTA 3 features an improved save system. In addition to being able to save in the hideout, from now on, the game makes an automatic save when the game ends - we start from where we were last. As a result, we no longer need to rush to the nearest save zone when we quickly need to set aside our phone or tablet for an extended period.

The touch control was implemented better than correctly, but it's still... touch control. Driving cars on a tablet works well, however, aiming is automatic. In the first instance, the one who is closest to the protagonist gets hit. This leads to many situations in which we are shooting at someone or something else than we wanted to. It's even worse on the smartphone because there's also the interface taking up a lot of screen space. That's why I recommend a controller for playing on a smartphone.

GTA: Vice City

While the most popular one among the older GTA games is definitely San Andreas, Vice City will always take the first spot in my heart. The colourful 1980s, crazy hairstyles, and unique music. Plus a protagonist you can't help but love. For the game's 10th anniversary, Rockstar decided to port the game to mobile devices.

I expected the port to be of poor quality and I got a game that was genuinely worth acquiring. Tommy Vercetti may not look as good as he does on the PC, but as a character he holds up brilliantly. There is not much changes compared to the original and virtually all its content is available on smartphones. At the same time, it is worth remembering the sandbox character of the gameplay, thanks to which Grand Theft Auto: Vice City provides almost endless hours of fun. I just wish ASPIRINE still worked, if you know what I mean.

I must point out, however, that some concessions had to be made due to the platform. For instance, targeting is automatic, so skirmishes aren't that difficult. The controls torn out to be pretty convenient, although they does not necessarily work for driving. And that's a shame, because the great radio stations make you want to steal a car or two!

GTA: San Andreas

While I prefer to return to Vice City, I fully realize that for many fans, San Andreas is the best installment of GTA. So if you want to follow "the damn train" again and remember how the fortunes of CJ and Big Smoke turned out, mobile devices are waiting for you!

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas looks surprisingly good on smartphones Light tweaks to the graphics were implemented and textures were adapted for smaller screens. In addition, three different control schemes and support for external controllers were offered. This makes it really fun to play and enables us to admire the vast San Andreas – the mobile port has not been shafted in any way.

But before you start the game, take note of the big size of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and the not-so-small requirements of this game. After all, this production needs a better smartphone, and even when it gets one it can sometimes crash or shut down on its. While recent updates have improved stability, such small things are what can spoil your experience with this classic, which is worth considering before buying it.
