AC: Valhalla Development Roadmap for 2021
We've learned the development plans for Assassin's Creed: Valhalla for the rest of this year. These include two patches, new content and the Oskoreia Festival event.
- November 9: update 1.4.0 with Tombs of the Fallen activity;
- November 11 - December 2: Oskoreia Festival;
- December 2021: Next update.
Ubisoft has revealed the update schedule for Assassin's Creed: Valhalla. It includes highlights that fans can look forward to until the end of this year.
November 9 will see the release of update 1.4.0, which will include a new free activity called Tombs of the Fallen. Then, from November 11 to December 2, the game will host a so-called Oskoreia Festival. Ubisoft did not reveal the details of this event, but in mythology it is a Scandinavian version of the Wild Hunt, in which the hunters are led by Odin.
In turn, another major update with new content is scheduled for December, but in this case no date or other details were given about what the patch will offer.
Assassin's Creed: Valhalla was released in November, last year on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation5 and Google Stadia. The title has already received two expansions - in May we got the Wrath of the Druids expansion, and in August - The Siege of Paris.
Traditionally, two major DLCs would be the end, but AC: Valhalla is doing so well that Ubisoft decided to support the game longer than it did in the case of AC Odyssey. For a long time there have been rumors that a third DLC is being prepared, titled Dawn of Ragnarok, which will emphasize the mythological aspects of the franchise.
