Assassin's Creed Valhalla May be Coming to Xbox Game Pass Soon
It is quite possible that Assassin's Creed: Valhalla will soon be added to the catalog of games available in Game Pass. This is indicated by Microsoft store.
There are many indications that Assassin's Creed: Valhalla will soon be added to the subscription offer of Game Pass.
- The rationale has been found by XGP.pl [in Polish]. Its editor, while browsing the Polish Xbox Store, noticed that the cover of AC Valhalla bears the Game Pass logo.
- The logo was quickly removed, but earlier the editor managed to take a screenshot.
- So there are two possibilities - either someone at Microsoft was a bit hasty and added the logo prematurely, or it was simply a mistake.
Personally, I doubt that this is a mistake. Indeed, the addition of the game to Game Pass would make sense. Ubisoft and Microsoft have been working together on this issue for some time, and as a result, such high-profile and/or new games as Assassin's Creed: Odyssey or Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Extraction, found their way to the subscriptions.
On top of that Ubisoft is preparing to conclude development of AC Valhalla. All paid DLCs for the game has already been released, and the update, which will offer the finale of the entire story is awaiting for release. So it's the perfect time to make the game available to Game Pass users, especially since they would only receive the basic version of the game and many of them would then purchase the expansions.
