Backpack Hero is a roguelike game which concentrates on gathering equipment and preparing the best combos. Diverse loot allows players to prepare powerful synergies. Some of the items have even special traits. One of them is Ghostly. Many players are not sure about its description. We will tell you how it works.

Backpack Hero – Ghostly Trait Explained

Remember that you can use an in-game Atlas if you want to learn more about various traits and items. It is in the upper right corner of the screen – symbol of a book. It can be accessed during runs.

There are many traits in Backpack Hero. One of them is Ghostly. Some people are not sure about its enigmatic description: “This item cannot be detected”. However, it works exactly in this way. Other items do not detect the one with Ghostly trait. It can be very useful if you have objects which require a lot of free space around them.

Ghostly items work best with archery and energy builds. Of course, you should also remember about nunchaku.

Ghostly has some downsides, too. Items with this trait are quite hard to find. So, it may be difficult to create a useful combination. What is more, they can’t be buffed by many regular objects which detect adjacent items or those which work on a given slot.

As you can see Ghostly items with proper build can be very useful, but it is not for everybody. Many people will find them quite useless.
