Big Patch 7 for Baldur's Gate 3 Arrives This Week, but Not for Everyone. Larian Gives Us Perfect Excuse to Return to the Hit RPG
Baldur's Gate 3 developer Swen Vincke revealed that the PC version of the game will receive the highly anticipated Patch 7 this week.
Even if some of you have already completed Baldur’s Gate 3 - perhaps several times - you will soon have a great reason to immerse yourself again in the extensive storyline of this hit RPG. During the PAX West trade fair held in the US, Larian Studios CEO Swen Vincke announced that Patch 7 will be available in the game this week.
The dev emphasized that due to the number of changes brought by the update, it will first be available on the PC version of BG3, and at a later time, it will be received by console and Mac users. Unfortunately, Vincke didn't reveal the exact release date of the update, so it's worth following the social media portals of the Belgian team in the coming days.
Let's remind that the anticipated update will introduce over 1000 fixes and new features to the game. Among the latter, we will find; official modding tools or additional bad endings and cutscenes. In addition to this, Patch 7 will include user interface fixes, improvements to some animations, and script modifications.
Some players have already had the opportunity to try out this update as part of the closed beta tests organized a few weeks ago. These beta tests were then slightly delayed due to problems that occurred while fixing one of the game's glitches.
If you are fans of Larian Studios' work and are in the vicinity of Seattle, you can visit the aforementioned PAX West fair. The Belgian team participating in the event lasting until September 2, prepared a lot of attractions and gifts for their guests.
