Pacific Drive is a game about traveling through dangerous places to gather necessary supplies. Proper management of your materials and equipment is a key factor, as place in your backpack and trunk is not infinite. At some point, you may want to split a stack. Right now, it is problematic, as a traditional Shift or Control does not work. Let’s find out how to deal with this problem.

How to Split Stack in Pacific Drive

As it was said earlier, traditional methods of splitting stacks do not work in Pacific Drive. Hower, it doers not mean that you can’t do that. It is possible.

  1. The first method to split a stack unlocks after you manage to repair the car and install boxes in your trunk. Transfer items which you want to split to the box, press shift and right-click them. It will move only 1 item to your backpack.
  2. Splitting a stack is also possible if you hold something in your hand. Now, right-click (while not being in the inventory mode) and your character should drop one item. Leave the rest of the objects in a different container, and pick up things from the floor.

It is a strange thing that in the game, which is focused so much on inventory management, there is no easy way to split stacks. Of course, there is a chance that developers will fix it in the future updates.
