'I'm Sure We'll See RDR3 One Day,' Says Arthur Morgan's Voice Actor
According to the actor who played Arthur Morgan in Red Dead Redemption 2, the third installment will definitely be made. However, the artist also shared a sad thought.
Since the release of the trailer for GTA 6 Rockstar Games has been talked about exclusively in the context of the gangster series, but there is also no shortage of people among gamers who dream of the next installment of Red Dead Redemption. The voice actor of Arthur Morgan spoke on the matter. Roger Clark shared a thought that can be described as bittersweet.
RDR 3 without Arthur Morgan?
Roger Clark shared on his X profile his thoughts on GTA 5 and GTA 6. He wrote that in his opinion there is no reason for the current version of GTA Online to be shut down, because the graphics still hold up, and players have a completely different city (than Vice City - ed.), which GTA 6 will in no way replace, so both games will be able to function simultaneously.
One fan reacted to this statement, asking Clark to share some information about RDR3 and whether Arthur will be a protagonist or a side character. The actor complied with the fan's request.
Rockstar has been silent for a long time about Red Dead Redemption, and the only news related to this universe is the release of the Nintendo Switch port of the first RDR. However, it is reasonable to believe that the company will not abandon the series, which sells like hotcakes (RDR2 alone found more than 55 million buyers). For a long time there have been suggestions and rumors online, suggesting that RDR3 was to be another prequel, this time introducing the stories of Dutch and Hosea.
Due to the hype surrounding GTA 6 however, we shouldn't expect Rockstar to reveal any information regarding a sequel or prequel to RDR2 anytime soon.
