Rockstar Games Will Soon Stop Supporting Windows 7 and 8
Rockstar Games will stop supporting the two older versions of Windows in three months, and therefore recommends that PC owners using such software acquire a newer operating system by then.
If you still have Windows 7 or 8 on your PC and play some titles from Rockstar Games, you'll have to brace yourself for inevitable changes. Developer of GTA has announced that it will support the aforementioned software only until January 30 next year.
- After this time, owners of hardware with outdated Microsoft systems may have problems downloading updates or even playing games such as GTA Online.
- On Windows 7 and 8 will also cease to function properly Rockstar Games Launcher app, which enables you to buy and launch the developer's titles on PC.
It is worth noting that the very Microsoft has already abandoned Windows 7 in January 2020, and Windows 8 ceased to be supported by the American giant about three years later.
The only advice Rockstar Games has for owners of both the aforementioned system versions is to switch to the newer software - and to do so "as soon as possible."
Owners of both Windows 7 and Windows 8 should heed the popular studio's advice if they want to continue playing its games - especially the latest ones, without any problems. Especially since GTA VI is slowly appearing on the horizon, which is likely to offer state-of-the-art technology and an ambitious animation system.
