My Summer Car - Console (Xbox, PS5) Release Explained
Are you waiting for MSC to be released on consoles such as Xbox or PS5? In our guide you will find out if there is any chance for it.
My Summer Car is an unconventional simulation game that focuses on building your own car and survival elements, in which every death is permanent. This title places great emphasis on realism, while presenting it in a humorous way. Gamers liked this production so much that they are wondering if it will come out for consoles such as Xbox or PS5. Our guide will explain this issue.
Console Release of My Summer Car
As for the possible release of the My Summer Car game on consoles, unfortunately the chances of this are very low, close to 0%. There are many reasons for this. The first is that the game is still in Early Access to this day. It practically doesn't happen at all that a game that “isn't finished” can be found on Sony's platform, for example.
The second reason is that one person is working on this indie production. The process of creating a console port can take a really long time, and on top of that money, which one person can rarely afford.
The third reason is technical issues. My Summer Car was developed on the Unity 5.0.0 engine, which is a very old version. It is speculated that this title could not even be well ported to the latest generation of consoles.
Moreover, the last update this title had is from January, 2022, which didn't actually add any new content to the game, but simply included DirectX 11 support. All these reasons give an overall picture that Amistech Games is unlikely to decide to release its game on Xbox or PS5.
