Faelin / Faerin - boss description

Faelin and Faerin share their moveset. Faelin is much nicer and only appears during the day. Faerin is arrogant and only appears at night. One of them is a traitor - the player can challenge one of them to a fight. The boss is dangerous both in melee and at a distance, his fight having three phases to it.

Moveset

1. Sword slashes - when the boss gets close, he'll engage you with a sword combo. He'll slash both horizontally and vertically. He also often delays some of his strikes to throw you off.
2. Sphere creation - the sphere appears in the air, fires up to three projectiles and vanishes. You can shoot it to destroy it early.
3. Swords of justice - When the boss drops down to 70% health, he will start controlling the swords in the arena. After a moment he'll drop them, dealing damage when they hit the surface.
4. Sphere array - very similar to sphere creation, but once he drops down to 50%, he'll start creating several spheres at once, all nicely lined up.
5. Teleport slash - in the third phase, once the boss' health drops below 25%, he'll start vanishing and teleporting at a rapid pace. He's invulnerable while doing this. The moment he reveals his physical form, he'll slash at you very quickly.
6. Sphere swarm - the spheres can merge together, all firing at you. The swarm can be easily destroyed with AoE attacks.

How to fight against Faelin / Faerin?

When fighting Faelin or Faerin try to aim for the head or the daggers on his back. These are their weak points. Don't get close, as their melee attacks are very unpredictable. Sometimes they'll rush two attacks in a row, sometimes they'll delay every single hit.

As soon as the boss creates a sphere, destroy it ASAP. Each sphere should go down to a single sniper shot.

Faelin / Faerin becomes invulnerable when raising the sword statues. Observe the floor and the visible air gusts. That's where the sword replicas will fall. Dodge in any direction as they approach the grond.

When the boss creates a row of spheres, quickly destroy one of them and go through to get behind them. You'll be safe there, as the spheres only fire in a single direction. After a few fired projectiles they'll fade on their own.

In the third phase, the boss becomes very agile. He no longer has a physical form, but is still visible thanks to the gusts of wind. You can shoot him again when he materializes. Be ready to dodge to the side once he charges. After a moment of downtime, he'll start repeating this move.
