700+ Teddy Bears Stuffed ✅ 1000+ Children Benefited 💙 “Our store proudly partnered with the Teddy Bear Love Fund to make a significant impact on the children in our community. We hosted a “stuffing party” with volunteers from the community and other local Lowe's stores to stuff teddy bears to be donated to local children’s hospitals to bring comfort to the children during their stay. It’s incredibly fulfilling to know that our efforts are bringing comfort and joy to children facing tough times in the hospital. This initiative holds a special place in my heart because my daughter had a positive experience at Riley Children's Hospital when they brought her into a room full of toys for her to choose from. Community events not only strengthen our community bonds, they also show the power of collective action and compassion. 🍋 "Can you donate materials for a lemonade stand?” 🛠️ “We’ll BUILD you the lemonade stand.” A few weeks ago, a customer was looking for a materials donation to make a lemonade stand for a Senior Citizen Memory Loss Unit Event. That’s where Camila and Manny stepped in to not only donate, but BUILD the lemonade stand and make a difference in their community. “It's very rewarding to support our community in a time of need and give back to a great cause that unfortunately affects so many. “I’ll never forget the moment when Dr. Ramirez, who is one of my customers and also a local business owner, recognized me for my work. I did not know what this would look like, but I was truly honored one day when he handed me a certificate of appreciation that was signed by him and other peers on his team. I could see him begin to cry tears of joy when he handed it to me. He recently found out he has an illness, and he doesn't even like to say the name. My mother died of some type of that illness.
