This month, our Minneapolis #JEDunn team experienced the true essence of community by collaborating with the City of Brooklyn Center's Park and Recreation Department for its Back-to-School event. The park was buzzing with activity as attendees were offered invaluable community resources. Thanks to our JE Dunn team and trade partner donations, we packed and distributed backpacks filled with school supplies to kids. Witnessing the strong connections in the community was truly heartwarming. Kudos to Charles Walker and Cordell "Corky" Wiseman for fostering such a supportive and caring environment. Yesterday, we celebrated the ribbon-cutting for GSA Building 53 on the Denver Federal Center Campus. The building, originally constructed in 1941 for manufacturing machine gun ammunition during WWII, underwent a complex renovation and repurposing of nearly 200,000 square feet. The renovation was completed while the building remained occupied, and the refreshed space now provides a modern and collaborative working environment for five government agencies previously spread across the Metro area. This past Friday, #JEDunn officially presented a check for $40,000 to the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum as a part of the ongoing #CelebratetheRun campaign with the Kansas City Royals & The Kansas City Royals Foundation during a pregame ceremony. Each run the Royals score at home this season means $100 donated to the museum as they celebrate the 100th anniversary of the first Negro Leagues World Series alongside JE Dunn’s 100th year in business.
