SYNOPSIS
Born in Japan of British origin, Olivia de Havilland built her career in the US before moving to France. Known for her baffling performance in “Gone with the wind”, 2 times Oscar winner for Best Actress, she was the first female President at Cannes Festival in 1965. Challenging Hollywood abusive actors’ contracts during WW2 and fighting for equal pay for actresses, her battle became a law: The Havilland Law enabling suspended actors to re-negotiate their contracts.
