input other than physical device?

video game console model
[edit]I added "video game console model" because is not a subclass of "video game console" and the "input method (P479)" give an error if used in "video game console model". --Arosio Stefano (talk) 16:56, 12 October 2019 (UTC)
Controller without analog stick (Q2629760)?
[edit]Notified participants of WikiProject Video games
I would find it helpful to know if a game can be played with a controller that has no analog stick. For instance Shovel Knight (Q13427374) does not need an one but Hollow Knight (Q29300592) cannot be fully played without. The amount of buttons required on the controller might also be helpful.
How would I model this? –Shisma (talk) 17:10, 19 November 2022 (UTC)
- Are there any external databases that contain such information? If there would be no sources for this, it might be not the best idea to model it at all. Facenapalm (talk) 17:40, 19 November 2022 (UTC)
- original research aside, a game manual might hold this information – Shisma (talk) 18:10, 19 November 2022 (UTC)
