This is a great continuation of the first series. It' s just as good and even turns better since it adds a few things: romance, better and more opponents for matches and new techniques.
The matches are really intense and diverse. Some are just thrilling or funny and some are kinda annoying and you have the urge to slap some of the opponents. You are almost living through all emotions.
What I liked best again is that the series and especially the main character is so optimistic even though there are setbacks.
I had a lot of fun watching this and am hoping a lot for another continuation of this series!

Once again, a hidden gem.
This series picked up right where the previous left off, with all the same amazing turns and moments of humor that the first did.

I was genuinely disgusted and pissed off at some of the situations. Not because I disliked the series, but because the creators knew just how to elicit those emotions from their viewers. It shows a masterful control of what well designed anime can do.
It's incredibly worth watching.
My only qualm with it is how it ends. I'm guessing that there won't be a season 3, which makes me sad. There is so much content they could continue to build upon. Here's to hoping!
