The Battlefield Earth of anime!
Jokes aside, I was drawn into this one after doing some research on the far-right Japanese religion Happy Science for some homework on politics and religion. Like others have said it started kinda alright, with a decent premise, and characters, but it fell apart in quality quite fast, to the point it became very boring.
As someone who has watched Battlefield Earth, which is essentially Scientology translated into film, I can say that this is basically the same, but from Happy Science instead, being produced by Ookawa Ryuuhou, the founder of both Happy Science and its political wing, the far-right Happiness Realization Party.
So, like Ookawa's other productions, it is essentially a religious-political attempt at capitalizing on anime to make some weird propaganda film, presumably to attract and recruit young people. If you are a follower of either of Ookawa's organizations, you may like it. Otherwise, is better to skip it.

An alien species called Grey abduct Halle's sister and insert a special chip inside her brain. The five stand up to save Halle's sister and try to reveal the existence of aliens, but continue to witness mysterious events.
