I came here after reading the manga and already being a fan of Nagatoro. Nagatoro is definitely unique in the way she that she bullies Nao, the MC and eventhough there are already similar fem MCs (like Uzaki etc) I feel that she is a refreshing addition to the archetype and definitely very cute in her interactions with MC. Good char development, so-so animation and some good comedy here and there. Recommended!

A spineless sempai being teased by his junior. Has some innocent ecchi and a lot of comedy. The girl ends up giving the guy some confidence and he becomes a better man. Overall it was great fun.

I dropped Takagi after 3-4 eps, I gave S1 of Uzaki a 4/10 but this surprisingly ended up getting a 7/10, proof that teasing stories can actually be done right, without it being so one sided and belligerent that it's closer to abuse/bullying.
Sure she took it a little too far, but you know what? the ML needed it, and actually grew as a person because of it, and it even sometimes backfired on her which gave it a much needed balance that other shows failed to deliver.
Let's hope S2 doesn't deviate from this path.

On episode one, I absolutely hated this anime and was ready to crush the rating. I fought past that urge and found the meaning of the series as it went on. This is truly a case of "You're mean to what you like." The characters are immature, and at times you want to just chew them out.
However, it's not terrible. As the series progresses, a little more honesty appears, a little less stupidity. Pretty sure they were setting up for a second season to make the series as a whole more solid.
I was torn, but it's not a bad watch. Just be prepared to push through the first episode.

A male fantasy in anime form, but done in a tasteful way? No way!?
This is THE best Ecchi anime I've seen in YEARS!!
The concept is simple yet VERY effective. Two people who normally wouldn't interact because of social status, end up loving each other through a specific "kink".
The female lead loves to pick on, tease, and mess around with the main character (who is the stereotypical nerd). The ways in which this happens though, is SO GOOD.
Its an AMAZING dynamic that I didn't know I wanted!!
Nagatoro quite literally is the REASON to watch this show. A naughty girl who is playful, beautiful, loves to flirt, tease, and mess with the main character, in VERY creative ways, without it teetering into borderline hentai or distasteful terrioty.
It is a perfect blend of ecchi, emotions, and plot!? (Story, in my ecchi anime!?)
If you like strong, playful, and cute female characters, PLEASE DO NOT SKIP THIS!!

"High school slice of life with a twist".
Here, the twist is that, you've guessed it, this poor senpai is gonna be quite harrassed by his kouhai.
It works. It's a bunch of classic tropes (school festival, natsumatsuri, beach episode...) slightly rewritten for this specific twist. Nagatoro's character is really good, you'll start to love her pretty early. Senpai is evolving slowly but surely and it's satistying to witness.
I recommand checking it, it's a fun watch.

I've got mixed feelings about this anime to be honest. By no means it is any bad. Characters are extremely likeable... as long as they are main. Secondary cast is a sore in the eye. Jokes are nice here and there, but Nagaoro is slightly repetitive. I did enjoy the way relationship developed between the main characters.
IMHO, not as funny as Nyaruko or Suzumiya were, but not cliched and feels fresh
I can't say though it is a must see anime, but it is a good watch nonetheless.

Ok, so this is series tackles the same formula previously used in Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san and Uzaki-chan wa Asobitai: a playful and somewhat insolent girl teasing a guy. Each of these animes, while following the same base theme, has its own uniqueness built into it that makes it stand out. In this one, the protagonist starts as a complete loser, and the female lead is at first an obnoxious bully to him. But as the story progresses, both of them grow exponentially. They develop their own idiosyncrasy as a couple, so as to say, and the story suddenly becomes very romantic and very sweet, much more than the other two animes, though obviously with a lot of sexy spice. And I liked it. A lot. There are also other supporting characters, though the anime only uses them as plot devices, however that's fine in my opinion, as the central story is very good.
Overall, a nice take on that nascent subgenre. Highly recommended.

This follows a timid guy getting bullied/teased by a girl. Initially, this was hard to watch as the bullying was pretty brutal, but isn't has bad as the series progresses. The comedy here is hit or miss, but the innocent feelings the 2 MCs start to develop between each other was cool to see develop. I don't know if this needs another season as it ended fine, although the ups and downs of this series is worth a watch.
