I liked the combination of music and boxing in this OVA.
The music was cool and the character design too which reminded me bit of the OVA "Nineteen 19". The comedy wasn't too bad - sometimes silly but mostly ecchi.
This OVA seems to be a prologe to a longer story but it seems that there is only one volume of the manga as well. It's such a pity since it would have been interesting to see more of Eiji and his way to boxing.
The ending which was made of panels from the manga was very nice too. It made me want to read the manga. I would like to know if the storytelling of the manga is the same as the OVA or better.

The animation and art slyle are strikingly alike too, being simple but artsy, both having some short segments animated in "sketch" style.
And lastly, at 44 and 48min, they are both rather short movies.
