This honestly could have been a 9/10 for me, but the story is just to conveniently made to bring those two together, there are also plenty if gimmicks that serve no other purpose either (like why Tonari wanted to marry her and why she willingly when along with him).
He didn't realize his feelings and fall in love with her because of what happened, it was the reverse, things happened to make him realize and for some reason fall in love.
In the main series he never paid attention to Hinata, even her confessing to him and almost dying for him 200 episodes ago was basically meaningless and ignored, but suddenly in this movie it's resolved.
And the way Naruto's love for Sakura is explained away as just him not wanting to lose out to Sasuke is also bullsh*t, like anyone believes that.
Anyway, the romantic relationships in a fighting anime are never taken seriously or go anywhere (like in Bleach) so i guess i should be grateful they at least threw this together.
6/10
