Oohira Kouki is a former photography director. After working in game development and website design, he joined the animation industry as a digital compositor in the late 1990s. After working for Asahi Production, E&G Films, and Zexcs he became independent and established his own company, Studio Acalantern (STUDIO アカランタン), for miscellaneous commercial video production. He has also authored several books on Adobe After Effects and Live2D.
