Anime: Kimi to Boku.

Kimi to boku is directly and without buts , a slice of life , the only bit that is a little unusual is that the cast is mostly male , and there is less comedy and a little more light drama than most slice of life shows , but thats what I personally liked about it .

Art and animation :

The animation is nothing very special , its satisfactory and fits the show , but doesnt stand out very much in my opinion , nor is it really bad , I think a 7 or a 7.5 is a correct grade for it , not too good , not too bad :razz:

sound:

The music in itself wasnt really special , but the pasing and use of it in proper timing was quite well done , it transfers the feel of the show perfectly , and helps set the mood for that last smile at the end of the episode .

Story:

The story , as is the case for most slice of life shows , isnt really there , the way it moves however , can be silly sometimes , or even annoying , but it still manages to give a good feeling and feel geniuine , and thats what's important here .

Character:

The backbone. Characters are everything here , they are what make this anime a good anime .What makes the characters in this anime special is that they dance on the borderline of being unrelaistic punchline characters you find in the vast majority of slice of life anime , and between having their own true feelings and stances towards things and having them play out in their life . Its a mixture which made kimi to boku for me a really enjoyable anime .

Value :

The value of this anime depends greatly on your taste , and in this case its whether you like light mixture of genres or not , because thats what this anime does , it doesnt have much of a historical value except being slightly original as a slice of life in the things I mentioned above.

Enjoyment:

I personally found this anime very enjoyable , many people didnt enjoy it as much , but the comedy and drama felt considerably geniune and easy to relate to , even if the characters themselves are eccentric , its perhaps that itself what made it so fun :thumbup: , in the end , if you like slice of life , originality and hybrid animes you will like this :grin:
