  A request by the user to override the alternative-capitalisation filter would almost certainly be honoured over at WP:ACC if the posting is made by the user whose username is being 'spoofed' from the software's point of view. It was clearly a mistake to use my email address as my username, because I get a daily flooding of spam from using it. Tracy McGrady is an American basketball player, apparently. I'm not sure you could be confused with them to be honest, which is the aim of the rule prohibiting names of famous people.
